Community Endoscopy with SurgEase’s LumenEye and CHiP during COVID-19

During COVID-19, community endoscopy using SurgEase’s LumenEye and CHiP helped maintain diagnostic services and reduce hospital burden through remote and local assessments.

The world has been shaken by SARS-Cov-19 leading to a complete disruption in healthcare services. SurgEase is proud to have been awarded funding by the UK Government to deliver tele-endoscopy in community settings, allowing patients with complex GI-disease and cancer, to continue receiving high quality care through precision endo-luminal diagnostics, and digital access to specialists in secondary care.

SurgEase’s technology will future-proof the NHS to withstand further waves of infection, and pave the way for new ways of delivering cost-efficient and timely care to its patients.
