This oral presentation was delivered at a THD Clinical Meeting and shared findings from the evaluation of the LumenEye® XI digital rectoscope and Anopress® manometry system in a specialist urogynaecology setting at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
The study focused on assessing the suitability of these tools in evaluating women with obstetric anal sphincter injuries (OASIS) and faecal incontinence. Both LumenEye and Anopress were found to be practical and effective for outpatient pelvic floor assessment, offering patient-friendly diagnostic options that may support improved care pathways.
Though early-stage, this presentation provided valuable insight into the clinical acceptability of portable, non-invasive technologies for pelvic floor evaluation in gynaecological services.
